The corporate world is one with cut throat competition, raw energy, an official outlook and clear readable lines in the atmosphere that one can comprehend.

Year of execution : 2006
Covered Area 68,000 sft
Project team : Pr.Ar. Nasir Iqbal ,Asst . Ar. Muhammad Saifullah
Scope of Services : Interior& Eng. Design with turnkey execution
The PTCL Ehtisilat office by Ar. Nasir Iqbal of Nasirs’ Design has been visualized and designed in a way that it maintains the visual flow of the viewer, and develops a sense of a corporate work environment, cold yet inviting, welcoming with its various sitting areas all balanced with hard and soft material. The impact of the raw finish of concrete in grey, with the strong vaulted false ceiling lines in deep metallic grey carrying the light points in a flow that maintains visual beacons and similarly merge and disappear when they are off creating a sense of simplistic elegance.

Similarly the waiting areas have been played in a way to keep the psychological harmony and sanctity of the place intact and give a “softer” touch to the otherwise sharp and elegant cold lines and finishes

The main theme that appears to be visible in this interior is the use of raw material in its true form , (i.e being TRUE to the material) , and the use of a “punch wall” as a direct contrast which balances out in terms of visual play and harmony

The true brilliance in Ar. Nasir Iqbals’ work shines through in the attention given to detail and the tailored made simple touches that enhance the feel of spaces, such as one may see the lighting fixtures in the work spaces

In the interior of PTCL one sees time and time again a true character of space as an entity all together with a distinct personality and a presence which demands an aura of its own.

The images show the play of Raw materials representing the true corporate culture through what can be termed as sleek design.

The interior is surely an exquisite example of corporate environment. The materials , perspectives and spatial compositions are intelligently described in the article. The office is worth visiting and appreciation.
